"People don’t care about how much you know until they know how much you care"

How do I work?

  • Do you have  an immediate need or problem? Let's start there.
  • If not satisfied with current health benefits, support or knowledge let's discuss.
  • Would you like new ideas and feedback on current benefit offering, contribution strategy and long term health care cost containment?

There is no one process or solution; every business is unique and in a constantly changing market. I work with people as they choose on their time frame.  It is always best to get acquainted when there is no bleeding or fires so you can make thoughtful and informed decisions; kinda like having a good relationship with your primary care physician when their services or needed.

I am 100% independent and transparent.  I work with all health and life insurance carriers.

How did I get here?

Standing outside our cubes in the office one morning, my colleagues and I were starting the day with a chat session. I was sharing my frustration that another one of my clients got a 17% increase in their health insurance allocation.  A veteran colleague commented “The only thing the price and review department cares about is their bottom line”.  Even worse to me was that my company did not want me to fully understand or share with my client the many options that existed to accepting the price increase.  I was not a licensed health insurance broker and could not advise my client on health insurance.  I knew insurance did not need to be so complex or expensive.  I believed that if the business owners I worked with knew a fraction of what I did, they would do things differently.  That was the origin of Lagniappe Dallas.

Ideally the consumers, employer and employee, are educated and empowered to make their own decisions on how to spend their health care dollars.  When the consumer is making an informed decision they accept responsibility.  If you want to be an informed consumer with informed employees you could be a fit to work with Lagniappe Dallas.
